Polyurethane is in every part of life...
What is Polyurethane? Ever since the use of polyurethane became more widespread in all facets of life, the Polyurethane (PU) Sector, a branch of the plastics industry, has begun to be acknowledged as one of the most promising sectors of the future. In daily life it is used almost anywhere -- in the home, at the gym and/or at any sports facility anywhere, in the car, in furniture, in bedding, refrigerators, footwear, on the roof or façade of our houses, in all hygienic environments… In short, even if we can’t always identify it, polyurethane is an important part of our lives. With the comfort and economic advantages it provides, polyurethane will continue to occupy an increasingly significant place in our lives. The phrase “Polyurethane Sector” started being heard in Turkey in the 1980’s, and the industry rapidly developed as from the beginning of the 1990’s. With the coming of the 2000’s, the sector took a major leap forward. Today, the use of polyurethane has reached a level of more than 200,000 tons a year. The figures show that as far as sector development and consumption amounts are concerned, Turkey is one of the leading countries in the global polyurethane industry. Why Hold a Polyurethane Fair? There are two realistic answers to this question!
The first answer is… The polyurethane sector represents one of the most innovative and competitive industries, one that promises to grow at a much faster speed than ever before. The second reason… Because they are supported by competitive corporate management, fairs provide impetus to economic development, increase corporate profitability through the stimulation of innovation, helping with their networks of communication to transform economic advantages into social benefits. Without fairs, the economy would suffer and so would trade!
In short, to hold a fair on polyurethane, a reality of our lives, was inevitably necessary both for Turkey and for the neighboring countries. We are organizing this fair to contribute to the development of the sector by providing a platform and meeting place that will serve to effectively promote the companies in the industry, bring together sellers that import polyurethane with manufacturers and create an environment where innovative knowledge on the theme of “Polyurethane and the Future” may be shared. Don’t miss the Putecheurasia Istanbul Fair, the event that will be gathering the entire polyurethane sector under one roof! | |
